I always love the pretty colourful loud fireworks but I also used to love the weird small indoor fireworks we would get but I think they are banned now :(

My favorite type of fireworks is peony. They are beautiful especially when several, in various colors, explode at the same time. Happy 4th of July!!

I don't know any of the names for the fireworks (where are my kids when I need them!) but my grandchildren call them prettys, so I will go with that.

My favorite ones are the white, bright sparkling ones that cascade downwards. Never knew if they had a name or not.

It's a tie between Ground Bloom Flowers (I used to love watching them spin as a kid) and the one that opens up into a Chinese lantern at the end. CREATURES OF THE NIGHT would be my choice, by the way...

I use to love playing with roman candles, bottle and sky rockets, and aerial shells. All are illegal to play with in my area, but my family use to sneak them in with the city approved fireworks.

I love shell fireworks (the ones that shoot up and burst in a pattern)...always sooo pretty! Just as beautiful above the water or looking out over a grassy hill, it's magical!

Happy 4th of July! My favorite fireworks are the roman candles because I take tons of pictures with my digital camera and those fireworks give me the most amazing pictures. Thanks for the giveaway!

I don't know the names of the various patterns but I like the ones have have multi-colored sprays that go off in different directions. Clear as mud? Yeah, I got that too! LOL Have a great 4th!

Happy 4th of July...I've always like fireworks that are far away that go way up in the sky...I myself don't like setting off fireworks.

I just love the big fireworks at the end where they have the finale. Those are awesome. I am always aw stuck. Love fireworks so much. I am still a big kid at heart. LOL. Happy 4th of July.

Love to sit in my front yard and watch the fireworks show that is put on at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA . It is AWESOME!!! (and totally free)LOL

Ohhh..I like the ones that shoot into the sky and do the snap crackle pop as they come down, they have a bright white starburst. By far my fav. Something to Howl about sounds amazing.

I love watching all types of fireworks but the only ones I'll fire myself are the little handheld sparklers. but I love roman candles and Catherine wheels I think they're called.
