Yep, it's been awhile. I'm back!

If you're like me and lucky enough to have a busy life, be happy. I tell myself that a lot; I'm lucky to have a busy life. If you've ever had a period of time when you're extremely bored you know how awful that is. I've been there and I'll take busy over bored any day. BUT. Being busy means that some things get pushed to the side and writing books has been one of the things for me. I'm starting up again with a new series and this time I'm looking for an agent for Book 1 instead of self-publishing. There are pros and cons to having an agent, going with a big publisher, a smaller press, and self-publishing. It's exciting/scary to make decisions about which way to go. To add to the confusion, the publishing industry is constantly changing and oh boy, hello AI. Since all the components of artificial intelligence have become so prevalent it's been a new world, especially with those AI programs that generate text. You've probably heard of ChatGPT and Claude AI (um, could no one spend a few minutes to come up with better names for these programs?), which are two of the most popular. 

Soooo. Here I am again back to writing fiction. I'd like to say I'll post here at least monthly but I have crazy hours with my day job. I own my own business and work with clients. Like everything else, pros and cons to that gig. Oh, and I'm writing Book 2 in the series now also and battling annoying writer's block. Yaaaargh!
