October is my favorite month mostly because of Halloween but also because I love the change of seasons. We still have hot weather here in Florida, but the daylight hours are getting shorter and I see a few leaves turning color. It gets me in the mood for spooky stuff, how about you?
I tried out Rafflecopter last month and liked it so much I'm going to do another. This one lasts all month and I'm adding a fun component. I wrote a short, creepy poem and am asking you to come up with the last line. I'm not a great poet so my rhythm and rhyme is off but that's okay, it was fun to write. If you want to play along, give me one or even two lines at the end that rhyme with 'beat'. Your line/s doesn't have to be perfect, just have a good time with it. If you don't want to come up with one that's okay, leave a comment and say hello. I'd love to hear from you either way.
The dragon bling is super cool! The winner will get to choose which piece they want (US and Canada only, please) or you can have your choice of a back list Ebook (International). Good luck and thanks for playing!
What would you do if a ghost haunted you
And wouldn't stay dead where you put him.
He belongs in the ground with the rest of the worms
Not here every night in your bedroom
Invading your dreams
With blood-curdling screams
Shrieking promises of sweet revenge.
You had no choice but to end his life
With a bullet straight to the heart.
Now he won't go away
He's darkening your days
And tearing your mind apart.
A ritual, you've heard, will end him for good
No matter how strong his will.
The witch lady said "It's simple to do,
Just magic, full moon and a spell.
A few drops of blood, you drink down the potion
We'll call up the spirits tonight.
Back to the grave we'll send him away
Before the dawn breaks with first light."
But something goes wrong, the tonic's too strong,
Your heart pounds its last living beat.
You join your ex-lover in his ghostly world
