This is Hurricane Sandy at her worst at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The next group of pictures are a surfer's dream. Perfect waves, sunny skies, nature's blessing after a storm.

Prayers to everyone else in her path. Folks up North are not going to have such good weather, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the pictures of the east coast of Florida. Lived down there most of my life. I've seen this happen though I'll admit those are the best rollers for the surfers since Gene and Irene whipped through. Now I live in N.C. in the mountains and I don't miss it a bit. I do, however miss the launches from Kennedy Space Center which I watched from my backyard. Good pictures, but again - I don't miss it.

I'm with you, Sultry, I would LOVE to live in the mountains, and N.C. is beautiful. Ideally, it would be great to have a home in both states, right? Thanks for the comment.
