Tuesday Treat: Fun with friends

A little wine, two good friends, one new one, what a treat for me.

Ahhh. Time with the girlfriends. Something that doesn't happen often enough.  It's far too easy to get caught up with work, partners, children, and all the many obligations and things we have to do. Days go by, then weeks, than months. Suddenly, we realize, we haven't seen those special women in forever. 

That was one of my resolutions for this year, to spend more time with my gal pals. I have too much fun with them to deny myself the joy of getting together in person. This evening happened rather spontaneously, much to my delight. I planned the time with my first girlfriend, then two others joined us. We were all in the right place at the right time and had a fabulous evening. 

This resolution will carry on into next year, because friends are a special treat for me, and one I plan to enjoy more often.
